What Is SLPrinter?

SLPrinter creates 3D-printed therapy materials and curates sensory tools for speech-language pathologists, educators, and families. Every product is designed to support children's communication development through evidence-based practice.

My focus is on phonological process materials, articulation targets, and carefully selected toys that make therapy more engaging and effective. These tools are built to withstand daily use while remaining affordable for clinicians and families.

Why SLPrinter Exists

Finding high-quality, research-backed therapy materials shouldn't require a big budget or hours of DIY preparation. Many clinicians face the same challenge: great ideas for intervention, but limited access to practical, durable tools that make those ideas work.

SLPrinter bridges that gap. By combining clinical knowledge with accessible technology, I create materials that are grounded in phonological research, purposefully designed, and priced for real-world practice.

Who's Behind SLPrinter

I'm Lauren, a second-year graduate student completing my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. My clinical training, combined with a practical approach to problem-solving, shapes every product I create.

As a South Carolina native planning to build my career serving children in this community, I understand the importance of tools that work in diverse settings—from school-based therapy to private practice.

I chose 3D printing because it allows me to create durable, evidence-based tools that are actually affordable. My dad works in software development and helped me pick out the printer I use. Looking ahead, I plan to expand into accessibility tools like AAC key guards.
